Excise department joins Sakala Janula Samme

On Oct-04-2011: The impact of Sakala Janula Samme which entered 22nd day got a further boost as the excise departments decided to join the strike.

17 depots and 15 distilleries located in Telangana would be shut.
The workers in all these depots would join the Samme one day before Dasara.

Right from constable to the joint commissioner level in the region have resolved to join the strike. Out of 27 distilleries in the state, 17 are located in the Telangana and the sales will plummet as a result of which the revenue will also fall drastically, say the officials.
