Prof. Kodandaram stated that achieving statehood to Telangana was the only way out to protect the self-esteem of the region’s people now. They would try to unite people politically through the movement.
Meanwhile, the TJAC leaders asked the party's district and mandal-level committees s to participate in the birth anniversary celebration of B.R. Ambedkar, who favoured smaller states for better development and social justice.
After meeting the leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seeking their support for ‘sansad yatra’, the TJAC leaders would visit districts to make the Delhi protest a success.

Speaking at a meeting of the local unit of TJAC here
on Saturday he said they would try to mould society of Telangana into an
independent political entity to ensure justice to the region. Comprehensive
development of the region would be possible only when the people achieve self-rule.
