Blocking the two major national highways
from Hyderabad to Bengaluru and Vijayawada for 24 hours besides taking up
several agitational programmes including Chalo Assembly is being planned by the
Telangana Joint Action Committee as part of its action plan for achieving
separate state.
While the Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway will be blocked on February 24, the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway will be paralysed on March 2.
TJAC leaders M Kodandaram and others alleged that the UPA government at the Centre was trying to delay formation of separate state though it was aware that there was no support for united Andhra Pradesh.
They urged the Congress MLAs from the region to quit the party and the Assembly and join the movement to hasten the formation of separate state.
According to the plan of action, the TJAC will launch a campaign in the constituencies represented by elected representatives of the ruling party from February 16 to 21.
The TJAC will also organize a bus yatra from Shamshabad to Alampur in Mahbubnagar district on February 11 and 12.

Urging
the Telangana people to boycott the Congress leaders from the region, the T
Political JAC will launch a renewed separate statehood agitation on
Monday, where the focus would be on putting pressure on the T ruling party
ministers to quit.
According to the TJAC,pro-T activists would obstruct the
T-ministers from carrying out administrative duties and public activities.
Releasing an eight-point agenda, the TJAC appealed to people to boycott the
Congress leaders till they quit the party. The boycott is both political and
social.People will not allow the ministers move around freely.TJAC activists
will stop the ministers from attending administrative duties as well as public
activities such as meeting people. And this will continue till the ministers
quit, said Pittala Ravinder,
state co-coordinator of TJAC.There are thirteen ministers from Telangana in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet including deputy chief minister C Damodar Raja Narasimha and panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy. While the main agitation would be at the Assembly constituencies of the ministers, demonstrations were also planned for the ten T-district headquarters and Hyderabad.
The final modalities of the agitation would be deliberated in a meeting of the steering committee of TJAC on Sunday.Representatives of the constituent member parties of TJAC including Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS),Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and New Democracy are scheduled to take part in the meeting.
While T-ministers would be targeted in the first phase,MLAs and MPs would face protests later, the TJAC announced. The agitation has been planned in phases. After concentrating on ministers and compelling them to quit,we will focus on MLAs and MPs.This time, the anti-Telangana political elements will surely taste the aggressiveness of the movement, said Pittala Ravinder.
