Hyderabad:Speaking to the media
TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodanda Ram and JAC members announced that TJAC is giving
the support to TRS Party based on the public openion in parakala Assembly constancy.
The Medak MP and TRS leader Vijayashanthi has said that the Telangana Political JAC must extend its support to the TRS candidate in the Parakala constituency in the ensuing bye-elections.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, she said that the BJP was the party that did injustice to the Telangana when it was in alliance with the TDP. She alleged that the BJP, which is not in alliance with the TDP, was now raising the Telangana issue for its political gains. She questioned the JAC as to how it would extend its support to such a party.
Former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive Member Bandaru Dattatreya has appealed to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee to extend support to their candidate in the Parakala by-election slated for June 12.
Speaking to the media persons here on Tuesday, Dattatreya said that only the National Party, BJP, would bring separate Telangana state. He felt that there is a possibility of the Congress party introducing the Telangana Bill in the Parliament if the BJP won Parakala by-election.
Dattatreya felt that Telangana movement would be weakened if the Telangana Political JAC was weakened. He urged the Telangana Political JAC to adopt an impartial attitude towards political parties. He alleged the TRS party was trying to politically gain by fielding a candidate in Parakala by- election. He said Telangana sentiment was strong in Parakala constituency and the candidates of Congress, Telugu Desam and YSR Congress would lose their deposits. He alleged that the TRS has failed to mount pressure on the central government to announce separate Telangana state since the last 11 years. He urged the people of Parakala constituency to cast their votes in favour of the BJP candidate.
Though the T Political JAC has been fighting for separate state since the last two years, he found fault that Telangana Rashtra Samiti was trying to weaken the TPJAC. He urged TRS to maintain restraint and keep away from leveling allegations against TPJAC in the matter of Parakala by-election. He said the state committee would meet on May 16 and decide the party candidate for the Parakala seat.
