Black Day of Telangana

The first linguistic based state of India, Andhra Pradesh was formed on 1st November 1956 by merging Andhra State [Separated from Madras State in 1953 with Kurnool as its Capital] and Telangana Region [which was part of Princely Hyderabad State] with Hyderabad as its capital. This merger was a conditional one on which agreement [Gentlemen Agreement] was made considering the traditional and economic background of both the regions. Here is the Justice Fazal Ali Commission report on Telangana and Andhra  which clearly says that per capita income of Andhra State is very low. And it clearly shows that merger would benefit Andhra Region compared to Telangana[Case of Vishalandhra]. On the interest of Telangana people and protect Telangana Region benefits Gentlemen’s Agreement / Six Point Formula was signed by leaders of both regions.
This Gentlemen’s Agreement / Six Point Formula was never implemented, infact I have to say it was brutally violated on very first day after the formation of the Andhra Pradesh State by the Mr. Neelam Sanjeev Reddy, first CM of AP by ridiculing the post of Deputy CM which was intended for a Telanganite. While he served as Deputy Chief Minister in the B. Gopal  Reddy’s regime till October 31, 1956, the post became ridiculous to him by November 1, 1956.
Hyderabad Mulki rules are also violated which was a part of Gentlemen’s Agreement, if a person is residing for more than 12 yrs is considered as a local, but later it was reduced to 6 yrs to encroach Jobs which were intended for Telanganites.
Later G.O. 610 was issued way back in 1985 which was about jobs in government organizations, its like Telanganite must get job in Telangana Region and Andhra People cannot get job in Telangana, but still not implemented by the state government.
Not only those GO’s and Agreements, but lots of natural resources, raw materials, Jobs, river water which were intended for Telangana are illegally reassigned to Andhra Region [I Consider Rayalaseema also as Andhra as it was part of Andhra State]
So by all these back stabbings and unmet conditions, how can a normal telangana citizen can celebrate 1st November. It is a BIG BIG BLACK DAY FOR TELANAGANA PEOPLE.
